International contemporary
A grounded home with international influence in a contemporary layout that is conducive for entertaining.
Living Room
As you enter the home, the living room immediately establishes a sense of calm and connection. The seating arrangement places furniture facing one another to naturally encourage conversation, anchored by a vintage rug that introduces warmth and a subtle Moroccan influence.
A custom dry bar supports entertaining, while floating shelves highlight the architecture of the wall and allow curated objects to add depth without visual heaviness. Herringbone wood flooring introduces movement underfoot, while deep gray drapery softens the space.
The overall aesthetic draws inspiration from Moroccan design — layered, warm, and textural — while remaining grounded in a contemporary, restrained palette.
family room
Designed as a continuation of the adjacent living room, the family room balances architectural presence with everyday comfort. A linear fireplace anchors the space, framed by custom arched niches and built-in shelving that introduce both symmetry and softness to the wall.
A deep green velvet sofa grounds the seating arrangement, adding richness and contrast against the warm, neutral palette of plastered walls and natural wood flooring. Curved lounge chairs and a sculptural coffee table create a conversational layout while maintaining clear sightlines to the fireplace.
Layered materials and subtle lighting allow the room to feel warm and inviting without visual excess. The result is a family room that feels both refined and livable — a space where architectural structure and relaxed living coexist in quiet harmony
kitchen
Just off the family room, the kitchen acts as the architectural anchor of the home. A honed soapstone waterfall island grounds the space, offering contrast to the warmth of white oak cabinetry and softly painted storage. Above the range, a sculptural plaster hood introduces a handcrafted element that softens the room’s clean lines.
Material selections were chosen for their quiet depth and cohesion. Dark stone surfaces, warm wood tones, and brushed brass accents layer together to create a palette that feels both grounded and refined. Natural light filters through woven shades at the rear window, subtly connecting the interior materials to the surrounding landscape.
The result is a kitchen that feels calm, intentional, and effortlessly livable — designed to support both everyday ritual and relaxed gatherin
