Moving into a new home is a chance to consider how the pieces you already love will work in a different space. I begin with your floor plan, the furniture you want to keep and the way you expect to use the rooms. We plan the layout, identify what is missing and select new pieces that bring the home together.
The design can then move into approved purchasing, delivery and installation coordination, and styling, according to your proposal. Access, furniture availability and your intended arrival date help shape the plan.
What I can help with.
Layouts for existing and new furniture
New selections and sourcing where needed
Move-in and installation coordination
Furniture placement and styling
Plan your move, room by room.
01 · Start with what you own
We discuss the pieces you want to keep, how you use them and what you want the new home to feel like.
02 · Give each piece a place
We work through layouts and furniture placement, considering scale, circulation and the way the rooms connect.
03 · Fill the gaps
With the layout established, we choose the furniture, lighting and finishing details needed around the pieces you are keeping.
04 · Prepare for arrival
We establish the receiving, access, installation and styling arrangements included in your proposal, with timing informed by the building and furniture availability.
Before we speak.
Gather the new floor plan, photographs and measurements of the pieces you hope to bring, and your target timing. For a managed building, include any receiving and installation information you already have.
If you want to plan the furnishings and finishes throughout the home, we can also discuss full-service interior design.
Let’s talk about your home.
Tell me where your home is, what you would like to change and when you hope to begin. I will confirm availability and we can talk about the work involved.
